Welcome to the Shabda Books

Shabda Books & Library started on 16th July, 2017 with the aim of spreading knowledge and good books in local area.
Inspiration to start Shabda Books and Library came from the fact that there was no good bookshop in Wakad and Pimple Saudagar area. One evening while having coffee and enjoying Pune rains, earnest desire came in mind to read a book. I went out in the vicinity to search a good book shop unfortunately there was no good book shop. Then the idea struck me to start a good book shop and Library.
We started with 400 books now we have over 5000 books serve appetite of our readers spread across various categories including fiction, non-fiction, biographies, business & management, self-help & motivational, children, travel, cooking and so on.
Shabda Books & Library is a place for everyone – kids, brother-sister, mummy-papa, grandma-grandpa! Also for students, aspiring executives, professionals, managers, businessmen (women)! We have wide range of books in English, Hindi and Marathi. In our shop we have taken special care of children and have dedicated book zone for kids.
